More than decks

We contracted John at Ugly Decks to replace our existing wood deck with new composite. They were super great to deal with helpful in every way possible. We asked if they could expedite the install and within 1 week they call to tell us material was being dropped of on Tuesday and they would be here on Wednesday to back frame and install.

Crew of three showed up and the deck was completed that day.

We can not give a higher rating than 5 stars but Ugly Decks is definitely a 10 star company.

The crew from Ugly Deck did an excellent job on our decks. Due to changes in their schedule, they did the job while we were gone on vacation. John communicated with us by email, letting us know how the job was progressing and sending us lots of pictures of the completed job.

Our neighbours told us the crew was efficient and quiet.

We are very happy with the finishing details - there are no unfinished edges - every outside edge on the decks & stairs is pictured framed.

We would highly recommend Ugly Decks.

John and his crew at Ugly Decks did a great job on our new composite deck, pergola and fence. Their design for the pergola is very unique and we have received many compliments on the work in our backyard. The black metal fence topper gave us the privacy we needed and completed our back yard perfectly. We would definitely recommend Ugly Decks to family and friends.

We recently completed a complete deck renovation with Ugly Decks. We met numerous times with the owner, John, to go over plan details. He was patient and willing to make many changes before we came to a final decision within our budget. The workers are highly skilled and efficient. We are very happy with the final result and highly recommend this company.

“Solutions are us “ is my experience with John and Ugly Decks Canada. From his first consultation appointment through to the build of our deck, he established a trusting relationship and cared about our goals for the project. His design was ingenious. We’ve had neigbours compliment the design and the finishes.

John will be coming back to build more projects for us this summer. We are excited to see what solutions he produces this time as he’s great at thinking outside the box.

I live in Calgary. I am a veteran. This review is from a very happy customer.

We were very pleased with the Ugly Deck’s service. All of the team members doing the work were very polite and professional. The crew went out of their way to match the design and colours of our house. The communication about the work schedule was good and it only took a week to complete the project.

The deck got starter a month sooner than we expected and we were able use it on July 1 Canada Day!
